Why not put the nav list in the header block instead of the main block? From an organizational point of view, that is a much better design.

My article menus are ordered by the order you see them in admin panel not by date. Hence, you can modify the way they display there. http://yoursite.com/phpwcms.php?do=articles

Its not part of PHPWCMS. Its a script called Tigra Menu. Its on hotscripts.com under the javascript->navigation section. PHPWCMS can make a horizontal menu navigation. I'm not sure how, but its there somewhere. It just wasn't robust enough for me though. I don't think there was the ability to have m...

Uh, all you have to do is set the new layout and template to default. You don't have to delete either of them.

Hey DX57, I never really found the answer I was looking for! What I do did however, was install PHPWCMS and loved it right off the bat. I've gone with it and haven't looked back. It required some learning on my part, but thats really all the better and I appreciate it now more than ever (thanks Oliv...

There is more than one possible WYSIWYG editor in phpWCMS. What is the setting for your "config.inc.php" line as follows: $phpwcms["wysiwyg_editor"] = 3; //0 = no wysiwyg editor, 1 = HTMLarea, 2 = FCKeditor, 3 = browser based, 4 = spaw BTW, you can ~try~ one of the others, some ...

Thank you rsantifort, that is what I was looking for. I can't believe I spaced on that though, I should know better to look in the left pane when I clicked on messages, but I didn't.

I will experiment with it tonight and see if I have similar problems.

The Dogwood Papers

So, I'm finally pretty close to being done.

http://www.dogwoodpapers.com/index.php

There's still alot of work to be done. But once I fill in the content, I think I'm just going to roll with it and patch it when its live.

Any thoughts/comments?

I'm talking about the WYSIWYG editor when you ADD an article to PHPWCMS. Not an external editor. When you add an article, you can do plain text, HTML, WYSIWYG,etc. content types. The button in the WYSIWYG editor, where you highlight the text, then click the button to make that text a link, a pop-up ...

hello and then goto the backend / admin / newsletter*smile* Thanks, but there is no option in the admin for the newsletter. Should it be in the left pane? (Below the templates listing?) I've already added it to a page. I even subscribed a few people no problem. But I don't see how to send an actual...

Whoohoo! Let us know when its finished. I was going to starting using that mod more frequently. But I'll wait to touch it until the newer release comes out. I've got a suggestion or two however if you are interested. Depending upon how you eventually wish this mod to be used. #1 How about an expire ...
