New phpwcms version- when? I can't wait!!!

Post by cmslover »

Anybody knows when will it come out? I hold off doing my site; waiting for the newest version- which sounds like a huge leap forward...
I check this site 3+ times a day, everyday

Because it is more a update then a new release :D.. But I can´t tell you the different between a update and a new release... But I see a new release as a MAJOR thing....

I just realize that if I choose to update I'm going to loose my favorites MOD: Graphic mod, Webstat, CSS TABLE COLUMN ... Even though Oliver did write a short how to but it's still complicated and there's no guarantee
if thing will not be messed up. What's a pain :(

Backup, Backup, Backup!

If you have a backup of your site on your harddrive, you can re-install ANYTHING you have done, and not lose it. It is painless and only takes a little time...even on a poor little 56K dialup like mine. ;-)

Hi Pappnase,

Well, my site is only about 20MB or so, so I guess it would have taken a few hours.....so "short" is a relative term.

But....compared to the frustration of losing all the work I have put in thus far, it is a "short" time to wait in order to be SAFE! :P

It's a official release ;-)

Version 1.2 is on the way - but better I don't post any deadline anymore.
