:D Actually Chinese Mandarin is the most widely spoken language in the world. Spanish falls between second and fourth depending on how it is measured.

Top five:
Chinese Mandarin - approximately 874 million speakers
Hindi - approximately 366 million speakers
Spanish - approximately 358 million speakers
English - approximately 341 million speakers
Bengali - approximately 207 million speakers

You can easily find different numbers with variations based on how populations are measured or how different variations of similar lanugages are grouped, but Mandarin is clearly the most widely used language no matter how you measure it. :D

I think I need to start my day now.
